Hades by Alexandra Adornetto, the author of the bestselling YA novel, Halo

The story that Alexandra Adornetto built in her New York Times-bestselling debut, Halo, comes alive in action-packed and unexpected ways, as angels battle demons, and the power of love is put to the test.

Bethany Church is an angel sent to Earth to keep dark forces at bay. Falling in love was never part of her mission, but the bond between Beth and her mortal boyfriend, Xavier Woods, is undeniably strong. But even Xavier’s love, and the care of her siblings, the archangel Gabriel and Ivy, can’t keep Beth from being tricked into a motorcycle ride that ends up in Hell. There, the demon Jake Thorn bargains for Beth’s release back to Earth. But what he asks of her will destroy her, and quite possibly her loved ones, as well. Can he be trusted in this wager?

Alexandra Adornetto’s real name is Alexandra Grace. She is the 19 year old old author of the New York Times bestselling HALO series. Her previous books include the ‘The Shadow Thief‘, ‘The Lampo Circus‘ and ‘Von Gobstopper’s Arcade’. Her first novel was published by Harper Collins when she was thirteen years old. Her family includes a three-legged cat called Mittens and two dogs named Tinks and Stewie.

Alexandra is currently splitting her time between Melbourne and Los Angeles as she works on the HALO project. Her passions include theology, country music, acting and singing. In the future she hopes to combine novel writing and acting.

  3. i did enjoy the book hades as well as the first book, halo. a truly magnificent story. Im so gratful for these stories, for they have brought up a new perspective of angels and demons. i do hope they make the series into a movie, it would be ever so popular and it would be one that i would see over and over again. although the onlny reason i picked the book up in the frst place was because it remined me of the maximum ride series by james patterson. i loved those series because they were kids who mutated on and had wings and were born to save the world! But the halo series is truly amazing and i would recomend it anyone out there!
    a book lover
