John Birmingham is seriously underrated. One of the best authors in the past 2 decades yet never seems to get the accolades he deserves. About time we appreciated an Australian author that does not feel he has to write ‘Australiana’ themed high brow literature to attract the attention of Australian Literary critics.

Lola Stark ‘ s unique writing style gives her a real edge. Her books are funny and sexy but she is not defined by a genre. I like that it almost feels like your just having a conversation. I think her best is yet to come.

I simply adore Kylie Scott’s books and have read and reread them all several times. Each time I find some detail or exchange that really adds flavor to the reread.
