Zoella has spoken about why she chose these particular books on her YouTube channel. She said: “The response for the first book club was so overwhelming and positive and I’m so excited to share my next 8 book choices. I hope everyone enjoys these as much as the first.”

The wonderful choices are:

The Zoella Book Club was created earlier this year as a collaboration between vlogger Zoe Sugg and British bookstore chain WH Smith.

WH Smith announced that All The Bright Places was the most popular book of the first eight titles, winning a “Reader’s Vote” online.

I am so excited about these amazing choices! A Monster Calls is one of my favourite books of all time, and the movie is coming out soon too. Finding Audrey is a really lovely story about a girl dealing with anxiety, and I Was Here was one of the most emotional books I have ever read.

I haven’t read the others, but I have added them all to my wishlist – Frozen Charlotte sounds soooooo creepy, and I’m excited to read the cute rom-com The One We Fell In Love With.

This is a great selection to follow Zoella’s first collection of Book Club Picks. (I know All The Bright Places was the most popular, but Fangirl is my favourite!)
