Only 4 days to go!
Friday 26 August to Sunday 4 September will see writers, readers and literature lovers join for the 2016 Melbourne Writers Festival (MWF).
If you haven’t booked your events yet, you can still choose from over 300 to attend. Walk through a Roald Dahl exhibition, meet the Miles Franklin Literary Award winner, or listen to Justin Cronin chat about his bestselling dystopian vampire trilogy, The Passage.
Whilst the MWF is a fantastic place to see all your favourite big-name writers and thinkers, did you know that it’s also a great place to discover new literary voices?
But it doesn’t stop there! Writers from around the globe are scheduled to appear, including political journalist George Packer, Anjum Hasan, Goenawan Mohamad and plenty more! The full line-up is too long to list but I will name-drop a few, just for fun… Eliza Henry-Jones, Richard Flanagan, Richard Fidler, Carole Wilkinson, Jamila Rizvi. Check out the full line-up.

About the Contributor
Bronwyn Eley is new to the book industry, having previously served in the Royal Australian Air Force & even spent some time as a barista until entering the exciting world of Booktopia. Books are her true passion. Bronwyn writes in her spare time, often has her face buried in a book and enjoys keeping fit (which she undoes by eating loads of chocolate) with Martial Arts and personal training. She can't answer what her favourite book is but she has a soft spot for The Host (Stephanie Meyer), Peter Pan (J.M Barrie) & Outlander (Diana Gabaldon). Fantasy, sci-fi and YA make up the majority of her bookshelves.
