Hi guys. I don’t think we have an Australian Anne Bishop – the only author I know by that name is awesome, but she’s American.

      Hi Tehani,

Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. Somehow we didn’t quite pick up on this ourselves! We’ve now updated the ballot and taken Anne Bishop out.

      Kind regards,

The top 15 authors from each Heat will then progress to the Finals round of the poll. Keep an eye out on social media and here on the Booktopian for when we begin the other Heats.

      Hi Jo,

This is only Heat 1 of 5 we will be running over the next two weeks. As we had so many authors nominated in last week’s round, it’s not possible to put them all in one Heat. If Anna Hackett was nominated in the nominations round last week, her name will appear in one of the other four Heats. Keep an eye out on our social media channels and here on the Booktopian for when the next Heats start.

      Kind regards,
      Tanaya
